easy jet plans to replicate the african strategy implemented by kenya airways .some serious competition here.
for them to succeed they need to hire the right management team that understand the african market .

"There is a significant shortage of direct point-to-point flying within the continent, particularly with west Africa. It is very difficult to get from capital city to capital city."

"We will fly between Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana and Angola and the average fare will be $70-$80. We should be flying by the end of the year," he said, adding Fastjet would expand across Africa to become the first low-cost pan-African airline.

I really really had to. looking back it was the best decision. put the money in KK and thats set to double. It was less than 10% of my portfolio so little effect overall.

Example: 1 KQ share was 30/- when KK was 10/- but now KQ is 14/- but KK will be 20/- (Kestrel)

So:

KQ 30/- is now 14/-
KK 30/- is now 60/-

Good move!

averaging down is the only solution here. coz i cannot imagine selling
and bytheway we are in an uptrend in the market so maybe its just a matter of time before some buyers show up !!!!
being hopless in a bull market isnt justified !
