those who bought @6.50 are up almost 100%. I bought @ 8.00 and I'm tempted to take profits before they vanish as they usually do

@tee are you aware how dangerous it is to try & get onto a moving bus?? Especially at a high speed...

If youve been left by one bus go back to the stage & find another bus that is still taking passengers...

If you're always being left by the buses, please select an alternative means of transport!! smile

i think people also need to appreciate that you can't be in every bus, and the need to be in every bus almost always results in losses

so,seasoned investors ,should i invest on a slowing bus (Kengen) or it can stop completely?
Got some cash and want to put 100% on it..am a first time investor

@Metasploit. Go with ur gut feeling but whatever company u intend to invest in should be one that given a chance u would wish to have it as a whole. So do ur research and remember that investment in knowledge pays best dividends!

Thats very good advice.take time to learn about stocks, before you invest a cent.

I have spent three whole days and sleeping late going thru the various stocks threads in this forum and analysing the advise against historical stock performance from http://live.mystocks.co.ke/,rich,co,ke,company performances etc etc and i must admit, there are wazuans who have been very accurate on their predictions and advise.I RESPECT YOU..But some advise from wazuans should not be taken!!!
eartvoice, aguy and jerry thanks a heap, for sure this is the best advise i could ever get for a starter

uchumi has very few fans on wazua imagine if it was KK rallying from 6.50 to 12 but anyway pesa ni pesa my capital gains is around 0.5m on this one. The rally is caused by the small float only 265m shares mostly held by suppliers who are keen to increase and hold their stake. GoK is also keeping everyone guessing on whether it will sell its stake to a suitor plus hints from the CEO on many interested buyers. Total of 5 branches in UG soon with oil production soon to start retail is the first sector to gain. Remember in 2007 when kenyan economy grew by 7% retail sector turnover more than doubled. Nakumatt turnover when from 8b to 20b http://allafrica.com/stories/200705300057.html
If that repeats again very soon then with the most efficient chain the figures look really good. My two cents on this share is hold and hold so long as it continues to be well run

Its only right to book profits . That was a nice move though.especially with the small float the stock cn get quite volatile to your disadvantage. or you wait for the dividend
and you are damn right it feels good holding this one .

BTW you, The deal and Hisah would really like to buy the index wouldn't you?

Now that the index did not go below 3070-3000. where is it headed, lets say between now and elections

I thought you've been staying away from the market waiting for sub 2700?
At what point was the grant entry, buying everything else apart from the three you mentioned above?
