Equity has done EXTREMELY WELL. They adjusted loan rates way after KCB hence the lower interest income compared to KCB. I dare say this stock is a BUY!

If you compare urself with others in most cases u'll be disappointed. Methinks the results are satisfactory. Or did u want them to do a BBK stunt!?

If you can access live data, can you notice how the market has responded?

Member must have decided to hide some profits due to the hostile reception by mps on interest rates and shilling saga...is it posible?

It is a result as of a corporate tax incentive (20%) given to encourage listings & runs for 5yrs. In Equity's case it has now expired. FY'12---> reverts to 30% corporate tax. Ref: Kengen's 25% tax rate also expired last year.

Mlenya i agree they must have a pulled a serious one on us. there must be a Gordon Ramsay over there. Ama wameficha as investments in the new subsidiaries. How much has Southern sudan contributed to that figure.

both banks, did good make no mistakes, 8bn 12bn, those are stellar performances. both stocks have risen by 50%; 6 months on, and the dividend yields are also nearly not that bad either so. issues of suck it should not arise here.
