I agree with elder on Bonus take.It basically depends on why you invested on this counter:Speculation,long/short term, dividends etc. Here is the link for the results:

The management had promised us a PBT target of 7B they missed that mark .... The bonus is a welcome consolation...I think Its better a bonus than a dividend....They need that money to capitalise the bank instead of a Right Issue.

I will take a bonus over a dividend any day. Much better value than dividends.

In a bearish environment like the current one, a dividend trumps a bonus 10-0. A bonus is a game of musical chairs, giving you what u already possessed. Your part of the shareholders NAV has not changed a whit. In 2012 I am voting for cash. Viva KCB, KK, HF, WTK & BAT!

Did CO-OP make a profit?....Yes it did. Applause CO-OP is extending its tentacles to SS where its going to establish a CO-OP movement in collaboration with GOSS. A bonus means extra shares and as long as the bank is making profit then no qualms

DISSAPOINTING results.

EPS @ 1.53 vis-a-vis 1.31 in 2010.

Dividend maintained at 40 cts.

Saving grace of a 1 for 5 bonus share issue. But we all know nowadays - the market doesn't give a damn for what shareholders already had. Price is adjusted downwards immediately after the shares go ex-bonus.

NOT A GOOD SET OF RESULTS!!!
