You may find the following décor style classification helpful

Casual: simple details with low luster finishes
Formal: Strong in symmetry and high luster finishes
Contemporary: artistic and bold, often sculptural furnishings
Architectural: inspired by architectural styles
Around the world: inspired by places; English, Arabic, African
Geography: inspired by locale; beach, tropical
Lifestyle: inspired by hobbies and interest: sports, rustic, urban chic

Add some colour to your home by displaying some beautiful flowers.
If buying fresh flowers every other day is too tedious just shop for some good quality faux flowers and prop them up in some beautiful vases. You don't have to remember to change them out though you may need to dust them once in a while.

Flowers instantly elevate a space.

Additionally add a touch of green with some potted plants
