@ Drunkard- supplier power was overestimated by the seller because he has had to cut the offer after 9 months-Posted : Sunday, October 09, 2011 9:30:03 AM.

Customer power and substitutes have been underestimated.

My post was driven by the opportunity COST @pierce is facing.Remember the car has been on sale for 9 months.If you forget about fuel and parking he faces fixed costs of approx Ksh 80,000 that is Insurance at Ksh 50,000(could be higher) and minor service of Ksh 30,000.During the year the car is depreciating.If he had taken the value hit in Oct 2011 he would have taken his money out and applied it to something different i.e. T-Bills or deposits at over 10% or maybe a better place.

@jaykay

That makes a lot of sense!

Applause
You will know that you have arrived when money and time are not mutually exclusive "events" in you life!

That C-class model has a face-lift sometime in 2004 or 2005(Can't remember which year)-the clear lenses and brighter rear light cluster.....
There's a new model coming out in 2007.For this year we can import cars that are up to year 2005 manufacture.Next year is 2006 and soon 2007.

Yes you're right... visible difference between the facelift model makes the 2003 look 'out'dated.

C class facelift was 2004
Interior - instrument cluster, centre console and audio systems were revised.
Exterior - AMG edition bumpers (front and rear skirting), side -skirts , widebody rear suspension. Sports tuned springs, clear glass headlights and LED rear lights and narrow front grille

I thought there were several (W204) 2007/8 models (imports) on the road? I have sent a few from UK.
