I had posted a topic on odd lots a while back, after struggling for over a year with Suntra.

However, after I registered for Suntra Online, I was able to buy the odd lots and now I'm one happy girl.

Ask for a printed cert. and hang it on your office wallsmile

After 10 years give it to your kid as a BDay presentsmile

=>the biggest nuisance with odd lots is the cents you get in terms of dvds. I once cashed a 19/= cheque at bbk!

CMA in its glorious ignorance does not allow a mechanism for firms to clean up the share register. In many other countries/stockmarkets, the firms are allowed to clean up the Register by paying market price for the odd lots.

The cost of (most) odd lots is very high to the firms! Paying out 20/- dividend costs more than 20/- per chq or even M-Pesa.
