i would say that the ccn bylaws are jungle laws which again are abused by their enforcers. though sonko is wrong i loath the behaviour of the kanjos who feel they are above the law, and they operate in a court where justice will never prevail. my 2 cents

The other day I run a red light along Moi Avenue not knowing that Kanju was waiting for me. Naturally, I scattered and they gave chase thro town all the way to to Kirinyaga road. Were it for the mechanics there who saved me (they always have scores to settle with Kanju) I would be dead. Silly as it is, I enjoyed seeing someone with the guts to shove it into their eyes.

He meant leader. Do you have to point out only those grammertical errors that have a tribal connotation? We need to realise that we are fools for having agreed to teach our children in a foreign language. Do you know its is only in the African continent that children are taught in a foreign language. In other words, they have to learn the language the hardway and before they master it, the same language is used to teach them. No wonder our children never grasp well concepts taught. That is why a Masters student cannot make proper judgement on whether engaging in sex orgies with an MP from Bondo in exchange for 12,000 shillings is not proper nor logical.

All other continents use indigenous languages to teach their children upto University level. Foreign languages are taught as subjects the way Kiswahili, French, Spanish etc is taught here. We are real idiots, only a tail is missing.

I disagree. I as pro-Africanism as I am, I think it's good that there is a common language that is spoken across the continent, and that also allows us to do business with the rest of the world, and allows us to have better ICT outsourcing potential than many other countries. True, that language is English, and it's not an African language, but I think that it's a tool that we can use to communicate officially that allows us not to be too segmented into our respective cultures, tribes, and countries. We should do away with Western ideas and concepts that hurt us, but I don't think that English is one of those concepts. A common, global language does more to unite us. English is now "owned" by the world, not just the US and UK. There are more English speakers outside those countries.

This doesn't mean that we shouldn't teach our kids our tribal languages, but still, they should be proficient in Swahili, the regional language, and English, the global language. Mandarin is optional, lol.

So the guy shrubbed his "l" into an "r". No big deal. I can clearly understand what he is saying; not so much on many Asian forums.

Best,

Hill

Almost everyday Sonko's followers complain of harassment from CCN, what makes you think they would disapprove what he did yesterday. Tell you what, if there was to be another by-election in Makadara Sonko would still be the top contender. The guy is answerable to his constituents so if they are happy with him, mtado!

I'm not from Makadara but the truth of the matter is that both of this two Mpigs would still have made it to parliament with or without Nark Kenya....Kabogo has done it before with Sisi kwa Sisi. Btw i think the only issues Martha has with the two is their affiliation with G7, otherwise she's kept quiet on the issues involving them.

Madam Karua is taking action. Cant wait to see the end of this thing. He will be struck off.

And Makadara residents surely ought to be proud of the man they voted for, isnt it? Stupid!

And when ODM tries to clean house in a similar way to MArtha, you hear grumbles.... Is the political party act already effected?

Madam Karua will soon be accused of being dictator! lol!

I just wish ALL the chest-thumping, rabble-rousing, loud-mouthing foolishness could quiet down into rational discussions and negotiations about the real issues, instead of personality "look at me" contests. Mike Sonko's antics are simply an evolution of what happens when there's too much importance placed on "performance" instead of "substance". He's the youthful creation of those that came before him.
