@ Much Know - You are right all the smart phone whether its a BlackBerry,Iphone,Ideos have the battery problem. If you are a heavy user you have to charg it atleast 2 times a day. Does any one have information about Nokia and Samsung smart phones?

Wrong. I've never had a battery problem with Blackberry, at least the BB 8800 (now obsolete) I once had.

@GG I thought they had removed the extras, that is: the 600MB and 1k airtime. Was at Safcon shop Kenya Cinema on Saturday & on the fliers they had this cancelled. Or is it back on?

@Tony it had a warranty but whn i took it for repair the just fixed one problem and forgot about the ear piece plus they are very slow takes more than 3 weeks to get you phone back...
@Arapsonkot...No thank you one ideos is enough.

I actually took mine with the same problem to Malibu (on the fifth floor of Indian high Commission building) at harambee avenue. It only took a day. Just take it there again and insist that you want it immediately. It is your right remember and if they can't fix it they should replace it for you. I actually had my battery replaced and even got another one absolutely free. Don't take it anywhere else for repair if it still have a warranty. Alternatively, you can blow through the ear piece. It works but temporarily. Best of luck

My new IDEOS battery only runs for a day, yet i have disabled most applications. Anyone else having this problem and how do i solve it before i throw it away?

Minimise the time when the screen gets illuminated (light) to 20 secs. Disable background data and wifi unless when using it. Android consumes most of the battery power (about 90%) and so, by disabling all the internet related features (unless when using it) including active news and weather updates. It will go for 2-3 days.
