I haven't got the seedlings yet. it is about the variety(genetic) rather than the soil/water conditions. Ni kama a chinese migrating into kenya, he still remains a small person despite the weather, food environment, etc.
The only time you should be looking down on others is when you are helping them up.

@mmarto, i checked out KFA Nakuru and you are not in luck, actually they maintained that this year they are not restocking the 6 series. The only hope for you is kenya seeds co. shop on Kijabe Street. If i may ask, why are you planting this late?

Am planting in Transmara and the season there ends end of July, so am not late. I tried Kenya seed along Kijabe and they said they would not have any new stock till next year(:((((

Most of the seed maize this year was exported. Lousy planning.
