@Wendz,

God is with you, so do not be afraid. Also, there are many fine surgeons in Kenya. Its just that we hear the bad news more.

What you will be looking for is a general surgeon. These are many. Most surgeons choose their anesthetists so you may want to ask who does the anesthesia from the doctor then find out about him. I have had these either operate on a friend or a relative and been OK.

•Prof John Adwok - Nairobi Hospital Doctors Plaza
•Dr Edwin Otieno -He is in ICEA Building
•Dr J. Githaiga-Nairobi Hospital-though does more of breast surgery.
•Dr George F. Jumba -Aga Khan Dr's Plaza

P.S- Please counter check with your medical insurer who they have on the panel.

All the best dear.

@wendz,
Ms kenya has given you all the info. that you require.Its absolutely correct.

@ Wendz if your insurer is picking the tab, check with DR. YUSUF K. DAWOOD or Prof PG. Jani @ Nairobi Hospital

Thanks. Will check that too.

@ Famooz how far or near it is depends on Wendz shags. If her shags is in Kinoo, Kijabe is very far. If her shags is in Mbita point, Kijabe is in Nairobi.

@Wendz, am glad you are macho. On Tuesday was told of a doc who diagonised cancer on a small boy yet he had hearnia. Luckily, the parents sought a 2nd opinion and were told it was hernia. Imagine if that doc had proceeded to treat the boy. Pure disaster.

Now, this is what i am talking about... see, my fears are not unfounded! Now this is scary! Luckily, i do know for sure it is hernia... hope they wont request for more tests and "diagnose" cancer!

@Wendz Have witnessed many medical situations.But simply put its only God that can sail you through.Talk of NBI hospital to many of my friends,we develop could feet i personally can never recommend anyone there.Kenyatta,Kijabe,Kikuyu etc not bad while for other people they will tell a different story.With medical cases it hardly matter on cost but the medical understanding/services the providers give period.
The rest wachia Mungu.Having said that the procedure is normally fast so don,t worry after all simpler than labour pains and guesse you are not a stranger to those.

@specky, wow! pole sana.... I have always had alot of trust with Kijabe.... dint know they also make such blunders!

Today i woke up not knowing where to start, now i have:

God(@mnjoro..mmmmmha!), wazuans and

1. Prof P. G Jani - Nairobi
2. Dr. Yusuf Dawood - which hospital?
3. Prof John Adwok - Nairobi
4. Dr. Edwin Otieno - Which hospital?
5. Dr. Githaiga - I think i will leave this one out.
6. Dr. George F. Jumba - Aga Khan
7. Kijabe Hospital - @famooz, which doc was that? Even if i (say) may not use him someone else may be digging for this info sometime in the future. Just let us know.

whoever thinks Wazuzus are not family doesn't know what a "family" really is.

Thanks all you guys and God bless and if you have some more, please add on to the list. I will start some background check.

@BS from my list, if it were you in need of these services, who would you pick?
