Nation Media Group releases its results on Thursday Mar 31, 2011. I have seen them and almost went blind.

@ sure.... I dnt even need to see the results. Just look at the stock .its makin 52 week highs every other day. Indeed those results are superb and i willnt be suprised if they give a bonus to retain some of that cash for expansion.

Must give 10 bob as DPS or they give plus bonus for the price to move up 2 inches. Tehy must have made alot of cash from the Airtel and safaricom adverts. actually, only scangroup will make a 10% increase in adverts but natin will jump by over 90%
By inference, the man is all that Mr Phantom is not: an untrustworthy radical, divisive, too many enemies, a dictator, and a persistent liar...

@SA, What exactly made you almost go blind? Let's have the numbers, else we may surmise that you might be exaggerating!

NMG has history of fairly steady but NOT spectacular profit growth. In the last 5 years, it only blew the lights out in 2006 with a 140% growth with most other years experiencing less than 30% growth in profits. Their rival Standard Newspapers Group only managed a PALTRY 3.39% growth in 2010 PAT attributabe to shareholders after having reported over 100% growth in the first half. Admittedly, NMG cannot exactly be likened to SNG, but they are in the same industry.

NOTE: H1 2010 PAT for NMG grew by 44.44%, with an EPS of 3.55. Given that NMG makes about 2/3rd of its profits in the 2nd Half, I would expect Full Year EPS to be in the range of 10.5 with a maximum of about Kshs 12. I would certainly NOT go blind with such an outturn. But perhaps you can disclose and make us "see".
