LOL!!!!
Im not Jeng' but stupidity is seeing people talk of another ethnic group as if they live there.. simply because they have issues or troubled by the ways of one Luo politicia.
Wazua does indeed have pea brained stock analysts
and it is going 19 replies and counting.. All on bigoted simpletons relieving their stereotypical hogwash. probably the furthest they have gone is Nakuru, and if they ever been to Luo nyanza the only level of interaction was 'greeting a watchman'.
offering third rate dilettante advice to a whole community... its wrong wrong wrong wrong...especially if your highest level of knowledge is historical political hearsays...
and the originator of the thread goes a head and offer it as a polite innocent advice, complete with recommendation of 'development oriented leaders' they should choose.. North Eastern fares worse.. Help them more

Help them more Bwana Poundf---, let us learn to engage each other in a more objective & accomodating manner. It is not the quantity (number of pounds) of points that you present that matters but the quality of your argument. When you find a thread attracting more than ten responses, then the subject is topical. Air your views logically without diplaying your emotions or anger. Regrettably, some of Wazuans (Obi included) chase the wind aimlessly without taking time to reflect on the topic at hand. I wish to inform my compatriot Obi that the largest stock of my buddies are from Luo Nyanza and most of what you see me sharing with the rest of the world is part of our normal tete. Catch up with me for a cold one at Zanze.

To be fair to people of Luo Nyanza, we need to recognise their many achievements. Development or lack thereof is not peculiar to them. Curious though that they would sacrifice a performing MP purely on the basis of Raila say so. For me what represents their main undoing, is that of near worship regard for this war monger, who depending on convenience wraps himself in different clothing to disguise who he really is. From his history, for him its - Any means necessary to get to POWER! Sacrificing human lives including those of his fanatics is mere collerteral damage! A review of Philip Ochieng's articles going back four (4) years will demonstrate that he conforms to Luo Nyanza thinking regarding Raila. This paricular one is out of the norm. May be a belated change of heart!!! Isuni yilu yi maa me muyo - ni Mbisuu

SO now you are saying that not only are you simple minded, but you are also two faced and pretend to be friends with your Luo Nyanza drink buddies but when they turn their back you bad mouth them. Ama your Luo Nyanza drink buddies are not included in the sleeping Luo's that you are referring to in this thread? People, every community has some cultural attribute that just pulls them down. The Luos have their Raila worhip, wife inheritance, pride Etc. Kaos have the Kamuti thing, Others practice FGM and oppress women etc. As someone has said, its just the cultural background. I see nothing wrong in pointing out these cultural shortcomings even when they may offend some. But to be fair to all, I also note that not all people in a community conform to the so called community mantra. Great men are not always wise, neither do the aged understand judgement...

I notice that we have too many people with subnormal intelligence contributing to this thread. We all have tribal prejudices e.g kikuyus are thieves and killers, luhyas are simpletons, Africans have lower IQ. Anyone. Who supports such prejudices supports racism and tribalism. Many of this prejudices are born out of rivalry and ignorance. The English dislike the French as they are better lovers. Kikuyus dislike luos who are better lovers. Kalenjin dislike kikuyu since they have more land. At the end of all. All this is meaningless. As Ben Okri said .. We shall transcend our tribes but keep our heritage, transcend our religion but keep our faith. Back to pollitics, patronage remains a major factor in our tribal politics. That is why muite and kamotho lost in the past. Gichuru never made it to parliament, uhuru lost in 1997, uhuru won in 2007 inspite of the underdevelopment in Gatundu. Kenyans are rabid tribalists masquarading as development minded and focused democrats. I suggest some of you travel a little bit more and experience more to living(out ot Nairobi and Kenya ) The whole country is mired in poverty, disease and social inequality. It is the governments duty to provide services, not MPs. There is a reason why we have better services in kiambu, thika, baringo, keiyo, kericho and not laikipia, kwale, pokot, migori, nyandarua.. Impuninity leading to unequal distribution of government wealth. Unless we address this, we will continue fighting for the presidency to get 'a share of the national cake'

I can say it here and now without fear of eating my own words the originator of this thread..one Njore has never been past Nakuru and if so, hes not interacted for more than a month with people from other ethnic groups.. If it were so, his first post would be different. airing such views on forums doesnt convince nor convert anybody.. go ask one Kobia of the famous Mashada.
Raila has no such clout in Luo nyanza.. his father however did, and that is simply the wave/momentum the guy is running on.. if you look at last elections, they literally got rid of everybody, regardless of whether you are his inlaw 'Gor Sungu' friend 'Larry Gumbe or close associates Orengo and Nyong'o survived by a whisker while shabir is merely given a chance to prove himself..
Tembea rafiki tembea...
point out any stereo typing and ill counter it..PAP!!

nothing amuses me more than a poor tribesman gloating over the supposed superiority of his tribesmates yet he continues to be under fed, under housed, under employed, under educated, and is under achieving. It is humiliating to be associated with thieves and murderers.
