This KYC can sometimes be a hindrance, they need to expand the scope and kill this nonsense of utility bills. Many average Kenyans have no water/elec bill in their name (they are in Landlords name), physical address changes from time to time etc. Si wakuitishe tu PIN na kitambulisho?

Do they imply that at opening an elec/water account there is stringent vetting?

Once I've drawn a map of where I live, do they then verify that I truly live there or the map is simply filed and process continues? Because if its simply filed and process continues watakua wamenifanyisha kazi ya 'kuosha nguruwe'.

How come I was never told to draw a map when opening? I'm feeling left outSad [/quote]

Dude....seriously...you feel left out LOLest Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly you made me smile...

I have no problem with them asking for all the documentation they need, BUT at the same time I wonder how effective utility bills are in vetting, better still am not sure which document is best in enforcing such controls!!!

On the other hand CFC as a broker just sucks...who is able to use the new online system...I was told oooh use IE oooh its opera...oooh use google chrome...oooh format your PC...oooh WTF.

gave up on them, will try NIC Securities!
