Sad sad fishy business at the Coast. But where are the Mombasa cops and CID during the molestations? Protecting pharmacists instead of our poor sisters?

“Hatukutumia mpira. Tungeutoa wapi, brazza!? (We did not use a condom. Where could we get one in those conditions, brother!?”)

This line has been used by many people I think its now a cliché.

@ thimioni, you after she/he refused to yield to the lewd advances of the beach boys??? Sad if it was the case.

But like I mentioned before, this should be equated with robbery with violence.

I have personally witnessed all classes of people doing really freaky things with young girls in the open at the coast and it appeared normally because no-one was bothered- I particularly recall an old tourist inserting his phalanges into two dazed young girls at a bar and Resturant in MSA. I was seated one table awy from him and to make matters worse, it was those long beer tables-so pretty much was visible if one was perverted enough to keep looking.

What I find disturbing is the KTN news caption. Much as it was informing, I found it very insulting to the women (assuming they were in deed victims). How would you feel to see your mother, sister or daughter on TV in that kind of a situation. How would those women after being molested feel if they found out it was all on display? As a Video journalist, what is your first cause of action when you see someone being molested? Is it to alert authorities or to record the whole thing. And for an editor to have allowed that to go on air......too many problems.

Be warned to ask yourself the question 'what is in it 4 him" every time someone "offers" to help! its human nature!
