Right now if I'm Puma, I wouldn't pay more than 13/- a share! Why should I while I'm coming in as the messiah? It makes business sense.

And as Puma you might not meet you wish for a compulsory take over.

We all know this deal is already sealed. The majority shareholders will go to the bank laughing whichever way as for the minority 30% I wish them well.

BBI will solve it

PUMA will pay well

We think the transaction with Puma Energy will rely on the value of assets. The asset numbers in the balance sheet are significantly understated due to the use of historical valuation. As Puma will make an offer at substantively the same terms, we think the offer price is likely to be attractive enough to all shareholders leading to a delisting. (sib - 10.09.2012)

heh heh heh i miss qw...

Anyway as @2012 has siad it is greed that is going to make investors lose money. When it was at 16 bob range, people needed to sell at least part of the holding to mitigate on bad results especially having been warned way in advice to expect negative results.

back to 9 - 10 bob range soon!

@cde, always look at a company from all perspectives and not one thus my info. overload always helps me in taking long term positions in different industries. At times its good & advisable to look at a company in wholesome case in point Satyam in India, investors learnt this the hard way coz everything was working well for them till they went haywire.
I believe a company is not only the profits you see on paper but the management, prospects, lobbying power within the industry, major suppliers & clients, core biz concentration etc. Apart from financial indicators i also use 5Cs to analyse a company. And when i do this with kk i don't find it so much of a good investment as most Wazuans tend to put it..

I got a bashing after the above and a few other posts on KK. It is always said that when a company reports a loss or profit, it's not always as it seems!

With that in mind I also ask myself what is the worst possible price that Puma might offer to buy? i thought the lead consultant or whatever the name is having an insight to the expected loss mentioned 17+ as a fair value.... now why should i sell at less?

sib also have their fair value at 17 then Puma should give a premium of at least 20% above that .... i also ask, why should we sell for less?
