SeaBoard Corporation owns a huge chunk of Unga (not the holding firm but the operating firm)...

The control is with ndegwas (stolen/filched cash), kiereni & moi...

Bumper local wheat harvest will shield Unga from Russia's ban on Wheat imports due to veld fires...so the Wheat farmers get a reprieve 2...

I was hoping to grab some at 14. I will wait until 4.03pm and see if I get the SMS.

Hello wazurians! This is my first post! I have a thought - dosesnt having a bumper maize harvest this year mean that the comodity is more readily available and hence cheaper, will that affect the Unga share price?

the deal- you are right about the volumes, but note in technical terms, high volumes could signify a turning point.
Anybody know how much wheat Unga imports and what proportion of its revenue is from wheat-based products?

@ deal - and what about the price control policy by the Government. If that would take place and price of Unga goes down in Nakumatt what effect will it have for the stock price?

@Wathaika the turning point is up...hope we have flushed out guys who bought at 6-10 bob...so supply will become thin again..buys have been going aggresively...

@dr hasn't that bill been thrown away at state house? that bill wont affect Unga alone but the whole of the NSE...btwn Unga is also no 1 in Uganda...

This counter is on the main market segment, right? So why is any detailed information about it so difficult to find???
