Its time we went to court to challenge this impunity. Iam willing to chip in for a "wazua" court action.

If we dont do something, the thread will cool off until late Jan 2016 when we shall start all over again.

There is no exam fee waiver!

The government is paying KNEC the fees on behalf of pupils in its schools.

If this is to be extended to those in other schools, then there will also be a case to extend FPE funding to them as well. That is, a demand these other schools also get similar amount of funding per pupil as given to public schools.

Say what you want but with time, people will fight back. Whichever means will do.

Let me tell you something for a fact. I will not give details but let me say I have come up with something - intellectual property - that I want to sell to a foreign company. Guess how the deal will go down. I register a company in Luxembourg, Jersey, Isle of Man, Cayman Islands or Monaco. I do the deal through my offshore company and I keep all my money. Kenyan government gets nothing!!! If the government was treating me fairly and using my tax money properly, I would feel guilty doing such a thing. Now? Take a guess!

just do it, either way even if you bring your cash hapa it will only benefit the rich. smile

A system APPARENTLY designed to benefit the poor, takes from the upper middle class, lower middle class and the poor themselves and gives it to the super rich!!!

Believe you me, these is how the "vacancies" are auctioned at those fancy National and (Former) Provincial schools.

1) Those with Money AND Influence (Politicians, Industry "captains", their friends and relatives etc.)

2) Those with pictures of the headmaster/headmistress of their target school in a compromising position with a woman/man who is not their wife/husband.

3) Those with money only. Lots of it.

4) Those with money but ni watu waku bargain.

5) Everyone else.
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Word of advice, hire @mawinder NOW to get you pictures of the headmaster/headmistress of your target school in a compromising position and your kid will get admitted even before they sit for K.C.P.E.!!!

The one's for headmistresses work like magic!!!

And if the headmistress/headmaster is as straight as an arrow, at an extra cost, @mawinder can engineer the situation. It will cost you much more for headmistresses because they are harder to confuse than headmasters. For headmasters you just need a drop dead beauty, some Faxe (or even whitecap), a couple of cameras, a headmasters retreat (somewhere at the coast) and voila!!! Mpaka video utapata!!! He he he.

If your son scored above 370 marks go and try to request for a vacancy at Kapsabet Boys High School. I was there some 8 years ago, and the school converts average students to extremely good performers. Last year KCSE almost everyone scored a B+ and above, which placed them at position 4 overall! They have a special class for the average students where they are given extra tuition to match the students who joined with higher marks. Kindly try this school because its location is remote and the boys there are very disciplined! No gaysm, no drugs and no funny funny behaviors.

If that is where they taught you to say "overally", don't you think you should be advising us to keep our kids as far as possible from that school???

Std 8 pupils are expected to choose:

4 national schools
1 "Extra" County school
2 "Home" County schools
1 "Home" Sub-county school
