@BOzor prices in kenya depend on ERC, where they use a constant formula. There is nothing like more profits.

If prices don't change but cost of producing/importing oil reduces isn't that going to be good?

Do we have them being some of the rich stocks or poor stocks. How is Mobil,Total, Shell, BP, Chevron, Agip etc doing in terms of their value in public deals?

The new planned Oil Berth should be good for both KK and Total but in a few years... In the meantime, we continue suffering with the under-investment in infrastructure during Moi's time. I read it on SIB's weekly report. Unfortunately, I do not have a copy/link I can paste. Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

Here it is http://www.businessdaily.../-/1c5g5ez/-/index.html
Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) has appointed Copenhagen-based engineering firm Niras to design a larger facility to replace the Kipevu Oil Terminal. Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

If the gods of Kochards came back from Jupiter the gods of KK shall one day return from the burning Mars Fossils. With the discovery of the many sources of oild and gas in Kenya and East and Central Africa KK could partner with another multinational to set up a refinery that will handle downstream businesses. The best thing is I m sure I will get minimum of 50cts next FY with a possibility of bonus share.

@hisah @mnandii, where are you to tell us about psychological barriers being broken...the line I'd particularly like to hear just about now is that if it hits 10/= then the crazy ride upwards begins. :) When you live for others' opinions, you are dead.

Officially on the SIB daily reports its foreigners buying, ever since those large volumes, nowadays its always among the top movers. Clearly there's some interest in the counter, maybe position taking. The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself
