Am doing the math.
5000 copies sold on day one. That is Shs. 15 million. Target 500,000 copies translates to Shs 1.5B wort of sales at Shs. 3000 a copy. Who need a job at PM office with that kind of cash?
On another note, the above support Justice Visram argument that Shs. 20 million award for defamation still leaves defendant in a profit situation after committing a wrong.

The plot thickens...
In a quick re-joinder M iguu-na threatens Caroli that he (Miguu-na) is the best Libel lawyer if Caroli didnt know! I will wait to see how he goes head to head with Oraro....remember how Justice Warsame described him? "Miguna exhibits mental and emotional fits in his defence of issues”,has a “relentless sense of fighting back”, as one “who appears unpredictable and ready to fight”. Warsame added, “He is described as a man living in [a] mental darkroom.” who is oraro ? and you go by the name "Nakujua"??? to point you to some direction....who was the Kenyan defense lawyer for HenryK at the hague? (10 marks) his son

According to capital, the guy has gone on a world wide tour to popularize his book "There are only two emotions in the market, hope & fear. The problem is you hope when you should fear & fear when you should hope: - Jesse Livermore .

...Mutahi Ngunyi put it as it is on the bench...he expected better from Miguna and the book just provides an interesting, entertaining read nothing more, its in the same league as the gutter press.Githongo failed miserably on his quest to bring down the Lords of impunity in this country,Miguna should have learnt from this... possunt quia posse videntur

Quote:Well, just before the ODM parliamentary nominations in November 2007, Raila ‘prevailed’ upon him to make way for Rachel Shebbesh. This was not because Shebbesh was more popular than Hussein in Kasarani. Far from it. It seems more likely that this was because Shebbesh was Raila’s ‘squeeze.’ Raila promised Hussein a nominated MP slot which he never got. But there was one minor detail Raila hadn’t ironed out in Karasani. Raila’s wife, Ida, considered Shebbesh her arch-enemy and miraculously managed to ‘prevail’ upon the ODM secretariat to hand over the Karasani nomination certificate to Shebbesh’s rival, Elizabeth Ongoro (now MP and assistant minister for the Ministry of Nairobi Metrpolitan). Shebbesh ended up with less than 1,000 votes in the shambolic ODM nominations in Kasarani, but in spite of that Raila still nominated her to parliament. Unlike Hussein, Shebbesh hadn’t raised any funds for Raila’s or ODM’s campaigns in 2007. She is not more educated, articulate, committed or loyal than Hussein. She is a woman, but more deserving women such as Rosa Buyu (who obtained more than 17,000 votes in her constituency), were not nominated. pg 351. Betrayals. Words defy me. If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.

pg 511. Quote:When it came to women, Raila didn’t know how to separate safe from dangerous. Many a time, we were appalled to find him eating food brought to him by women I felt to be wholly inappropriate such as Rachel Shebesh, Ann Kariuki and Esther Passaris. He seemed to have a strange weakness for women of all descriptions. If he wasn’t drinking with such women, he was spending too much time with sycophantic nincompoops like Paul Gondi, Mike Njeru, Tony Chege (prior to December 30, 2007), Jakoyo Midiwo, Oburu Oginga, Caroli Omondi, Mohammed Isahakia, James Orengo and others I saw as simply lazy layabouts.
M2 is three much. If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.

my take on this is that migoon migoon has taken one for the ODM team, ponder this, migoon writes a suspect sensationally interesting book with bits of truths and alot of lies compromising ODM & PM, PM & ODM come up with a more credible rebuttal discrediting migoon's book leaving ODM & PM more endearing to the kenyan plebs, ODM & PM come out as winners while proceeds from the book sales contribute to ODM campaign kitty after migoon taking his cut for being the fall guy.... then again everything in migoon's book could be true... KENYANS DONT BE TAKEN FOR A RIDE, BRING KENYA BACK VOTE PK! 'One headache for famous medieval holy people was that someone might murder you to acquire your body parts for the relics trade'
