What gunners got to do with all those million pounds profit??......Hahaha....Maroun Chamakh has signed a pre-contract while 19 year old Uruguayan Abel "the jewel" Hernandez is sure to join gunners fro Palermo..hah!
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

@ Njunge...........Eti a 19yr old? Surely what aseno need now is a world class striker and defender, not another kid.

Wes Brown? No loss at all even if he is injured for a whole season. And for the record, Owen Hargreaves has resumed training and turns up for the reserves this thursday.......Before he is unleashed to other title pretenders at this critical time of the league.

@ mwenza. now its let history do the talking. walcott has been having a dip in form recently which happens to any footballer.even kaka who was red hot just 2 years ago has had a serious dip in form recently but that does not mean he is a poor footballer.form is temporary but class is permanent. we shall just wait and see.

Surely when i say the boy has no skills, i can't be talking about FORM. It can only mean permanent lack of skills/class.

Consistency is the word.............

Tottenham legend Chris Waddle stands by his criticism of Arsenal winger Theo Walcott.

Waddle sparked huge debate last week when declaring Walcott "doesn't have a football brain".

In his column for the Daily Mail, Waddle maintained his stand: "I have watched Walcott for a number of years and there are no doubts he has strengths to his game. Well, he has one strength in particular: his terrific pace.

"But why does he not use it more? Why does he not get more of the ball? You can only look at his movement and conclude it is not good enough.

"He proved he can cross and deliver a ball against Burnley at the weekend. But why does he not do that consistently? I stand by my assessment that he doesn't yet have a football brain.

"People keep telling me he is only young and he is still developing, but he is learning the game under one of the best teachers in the world in Arsene Wenger. Why are we not seeing that all important consistency in his game yet?

"Wayne Rooney, Cesc Fabregas and James Milner are still young, but they are all classed as intelligent footballers and have been that way from a very young age."

Na leo usiku kuna watu watalilia kwa choo.

@ anasazi.............The point am trying to put across is that i posted my comments on useless Walcott before i got support from Waddle.

Njunge, yu sure you got no injury problems????.....with Fabregas, RVP and Gallas out.....huh!!!!!
Check this!!!!!

"Any Arsenal fans expecting their heroes to swat aside Porto this evening and reach the Champions League quarter-finals with something to spare would do well to listen to Arsène Wenger.

The Arsenal manager claimed yesterday that a victory for his side would be amazing and historic, words of warning that placed the challenge of overturning Porto’s 2-1 lead into perspective.

Wenger is not a man given to hyperbole — dry understatement is more to his taste — and his fears are rooted in fact. Arsenal have never overhauled a first-leg deficit in the Champions League, with the only occasion on which they have staged a second-leg comeback in any European competition coming in a Uefa Cup second-round tie against Hajduk Split in 1978.

They must also attempt to make history without the spine of their side, because William Gallas (calf), Cesc Fàbregas (hamstring) and Robin van Persie (ankle) are out injured. No wonder Wenger is counselling caution."

.......gooners, dont say you were not warned!!!!!!

Arsenal 5 Porto 0
Aggregate (Arsenal 6 Porto 2)

Bendtner hat-trick (Yes, 3 goals!)

First Arsenal player to score a hat-trick in the Champions League since 1991!

Arsenal in the last eight of the Champions League!

What were the critics saying again? Louder...!

It could be said that history has been made perhaps?

Should have been 6 - Arshavin missed a sitter (saving it for Hull).

Now for Hull.
