I wonder if there are any fundamentals underpinning the share price rise?

Read through this thread.. The answer lies herein. The fact is that there is KQA worth ABP KES 21 and KQB of known value KES 8.32 hence KES 67B fair valuation which can only be achieved via rights issue.. In the interim, KQA which is the tradable portion of minority shareholders can rise to highs of KES 18 and beyond. Watch and learn

When are we expecting results

FY 2019 loss before tax 9.1B

What was FY 2018?

Boss, you made a risky bet on an insolvent, hopeless company and it seems to have panned out. Don't bring mazematics into it, the maths says KQ shouldn't even exist right now. Get out while you can still.

I see tears coming on Monday.

Let me continue sipping tea from the sidelines.

Corona and curfew made me save some 30k on pombe and travel last month and I have sunk the savings into 30k KQ shares and will do the same each month while the crisis persists hoping to be bought out at 8.32.

There is no buyout at 8bob...

Imagine owning 1 million shares of this carcass?
If the price doubles to 2 bob,you will be 1M richer.
I am tempted.
If it hit 8 bob in 2025, you will be who's who.

It's now at 3.15 and going up very fast.

There was no volume to buy 1M shares when the price was sub one bob.

Over 3m shares were traded circa KES 0.80. Weak ones had KES 3.1 to disembark. We now remain with bold ones
