"Are there fresh plans to reconcile President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto?

A source within the presidency has told Corridors that a team of religious leaders are leading behind the scenes negotiations to try and have the two Jubilee leaders call a truce.

The reconciliation plans are said to be at an advanced stage and the two could have a handshake as soon as early June."

Quote:
If Jubilee genuinely feels domestic squabbles are more important than the needs of all Kenyans, then we can only make a humble request for them to step aside and let the dogs officially take over the running of this country.

Kenyans aren’t interested in the catfights inside Jubilee House, and even if we were, we are too broke right now to pay attention.

We weren’t consulted when the two principals started dating prior to the 2013 marriage of convenience, and we don’t want to be party to this nasty divorce that is slowly exposing the hypocrisy of political party mergers.

The carnage going on inside the Jubilee Party walls has nothing to do with services to Kenyans.

If it did, then we wouldn’t be seeing senators being reappointed to House committees and declining to take up those jobs.

CHRONIC POVERTY

Kenyans aren’t ready to offer themselves as a soft landing for casualties of a war we weren’t part of, and which was waged against our interests.

To see Jubilee play politics when this country is on its knees is the dictionary definition of atrocity.

Kenyans badly need a national leadership that speaks to the enormous challenges we are facing in the battle for daily survival.

Politicians exchange words with their party rivals because their stomachs are full and they have the energy to fight.

They don’t recognise that for most of Kenyans, every day is a life-and-death affair and the more they fight, the more Kenyans sink deeper into the hole of chronic poverty they might never come out of alive.

No wonder wasapere are hated in Kenya and rightly so.
We have two official languages in Kenya yet guys have the audacity to converse in Kiuk in such a forum. This sense of entitlement entrenched in some of us is disgusting. Go to Inooro and Kameme pages and get an audience there. Stupid.

Not in defence, but it's been done countless times in this and other fora. Don't forget there are many kiuks who don't even grasp the words.
And am not sure if a post in another local or foreign language would elicit similar feelings.

What is there to reconcile really? I think Uhuru just wants to pass the mantle to his childhood friends period.

Good question. How do you mediate and the key persons have not declared there is a dispute or conflict?

I hear tomorrow Ruto will be at the house on the hill...
