[quote=smano]First off I think SAF made a few tactical errors in the Wolves match. We were unfortunate to lose Rio before the start but why put Johnny Evans instead of Smalling. Say what you will about game time but Evans has had many chances to prove himself and hasn't done so. Wolves are fighters so a guy like Anderson in mid field would have done pretty well. And when worst came to worst, Rooney should have been off instead of Berba. Wolves were very well organized defensively so no excuses. I knew we could not go unbeaten in this day and age but expected better at Molineux. So @Taz we didn't lose against a good team, we lost against a team that played well on the night when we didn't find our rythm. The focus however is on the title, not an unbeaten run. I believe we'll bounce back at OT, even if Mancini packs a bus a la`Emirates.
As for the Newcastle Arsenal game, I would feel as hard done as the Gunners did, that 2nd penalty was the softest penalty I've ever seen - if you're going to award two penalties to one team in a game, they'd better be very obvious penalties. Tough luck gunners, but our loss still keeps the race open.

Well said.
The kind of penalties awarded over the Arsenal game were dubious to say the least. If such penalties were to be awarded consistently, then Ivanovic would have won one yesterday as there was a clear push, and a handball was also to be awarded to Man Utd.
On Saturday Spurs, Tottenham and Man city were all beneficiaries of spot kicks a manifestation of Referees playing to the fans gallery as all recipients were home teams.
