Deadline for the bond money is next Friday. Ten days to go and no solid plans in place! This is looking like default.

i find those agreeing to give some cash on this company very bold, its value could be less than 2b

This is all window dressing. This company is dead and the shareholders and management know it. Bond holders say give us 4 billion cash then do rights issue where we convert the rest into equity which means current shareholders end up with a tiny fraction of the company. If you know you are going to lose the company anyway why bother coming up with the 4 billion payment? I am waiting for 25th. This debt is going to default. There is a 1% chance I may be wrong.

The question is how will global investors handle the TCL eurobond default? What will be the likely effect to NSE foreign inflows post default?

A default could be a red herring at NSE for foreign investors. But it wouldn't last for long!

This man also forged tender documents and beat transcentury on the Kengen tender LINK

This why Transcentury went to court to challenge the tender offer LINK

This is how the judge decided the case LINK

Ama kweli, the judiciary is also playing its part in destroying Kenyan companies

I like how you learn new terms here and apply them almost immediately.
"red herring is something that misleads or distracts from a relevant or important issue. It may be either a logical fallacy or a literary device that leads readers or audiences towards a false conclusion"

I knew these terms long time ago before joining Wazua though is a great experience of refreshing levels of analyses .
