The rise from 8.00-9.75 clearly points to good results, investors positioning for dividends and maybe for the future. But being a bear market don't be surprised to slip back to below 9. The lower prices reduce finance costs, which should help kk in their quest to become debt free. Stations being renovated, need to increase that brand image for the future The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself

As I said elsewhere, this is the yield period. Its time to ignore bear and let the bull take charge. The Bull may not run very fast but remember Barclays,Equity, KCB are almost reporting within these two weeks which will give the bull some energy to run and charge. KK have a month and above to report if Ohana is not going for Holiday in Israel Feb-March, but depends on his happiness index and will tend to break the ice very early to boost investors I will not have VALENTINE....I will buy KK!!!!

Shell is giving unsolicited discounts on fuel until the 14th. Some KK stations are giving a discount of 2/- on top of the 2/- discount on K-Card = 4/- I betcha the margins are solid if they can afford to dish out these discounts even before the ERC reduction. *Fill up at KK. KQ to pay cash. Thank You. Come Again.* Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

*Fill up at KK. KQ to pay cash. Thank You. Come Again.* i don't like this,it will make those complaining fuel has not come down think the margins left for marketer's is too big "Don't let the fear of losing be greater than the excitement of winning."

I think Shell is 'front-running' the price decrease i.e. they know what the incoming (last) shipments cost so they are selling fuel at the price they would sell at on 15th before the 15th. KK - This promotion has been on for a while. K-Card has had the 2/- discount for years. And there's a new K-Card in town powered by DTB. The additional 2/- is on select days at select stations that are probably trying to push volumes or traffic on "non-busy" days. I take advantage of this. Greedy when others are fearful. In the next market survey it is very prudent that KK will have gone up in market share. I remember Ohana moving out of his office to fuel a few customers and cleaning their windscreens. This means he has done his maths and scored high. What else? KK results will likely come on time without delay. Costs down (labor), No hedges, have repaid larger prt of old loans and may have resolved their issues with Shell de-touching itself from demand that it should be considered in any prtnership when selling shares. This will give KK the freedom to choose on partnership.

It has it that since KK was bought from Mobil which had a relationship with BP-Shell, in any case of a sale of KK, shell now Vivo energy must be considered as the first party with interest. . This was the theory when KK wanted to shell the company shares to Puma energy.
