I dont think it is a scam...its shrewd business...all he did was use his lease as security whats wrong with that?

If you look at all the allegation labelled against him In CMC and Now at KAA you will realise how clever Muthoka is in building his empire. He uses the right channels the guys on the opposite side are the ones napping not him...and he shuld not be blamed for taking advantage of the opportunities that fall on his path.

Our journalists/ business reporters are generally sensational idiots. Transglobal has put up a Sh 2 billion facility in the KAA land under lease, why can't they borrow against the same.

Two ousted board members of troubled motor firm CMC have obtained temporary court orders blocking the capital markets regulator’s directive that they be barred from serving as directors in the company.

The High Court, in a ruling made last Thursday, also allowed Peter Muthoka, a former chairman of the auto firm and his side-kick Joseph Kevai, to challenge the Capital Markets Authority’s (CMA) decision to bar them from holding directorships in Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE)-listed companies.

CMC share ban extended by another 65 days till March 30 2013... I can hardly wait for this thing to start trading again. The nosedive! Like I said before, most serious cases of enterprise corruption ends up in bankruptcy...

Things are thick here.
This CMC can make an excellent PhD thesis, a book and/or movie.

Actually, the topic should focus on the aspect of DECEPTION.

CMC is just full of lies. Here they bid and failed the JLR tender and they continue giving false hope to investors that they have been stabbed at the back

Rightoo! So is Bill Lay a liar?

JaguarLandRover claims so while stating his leadership is not doing justice to their brand. And he definitely has destroyed shareholder value in CMC thus far. It seems JaguarLandRover would rather sleep with his villians.
