Some of these refs are very competent (when you are a Manure fan). Otherwise they need to be stoned. Lee Mason, Howard Webb (MBE - Manchesters Best Employee) etc etc.
Form is temporary, class is permanent

There was quite some discussion about Saha's offside goal after the match. Koscielny tried to control the ball before it reached Saha, ostensibly putting him onside..that's how the official looked at it. Had the ball hit Koscielny by mistake and gotten to Saha, they reckoned he'd have blown the whistle.

The other school of thought is that the official should have blown the whistle immediately the ball was played in, even before Koscielny tried to control it. Most guys belong to the second school, including Wenger, Moyes and me. But the scoreline wound up the debate though they should come out clearly.

As for the Man Utd game, it's only Friedel who prevented Rooney from scoring a hat trick. Teams should be afraid to see him regaining his goal scoring form.

We can now sleep through the weekend fixtures where Arsenal entertain Fulham (is that a derby?), Man-u visit wolves (once a upon a time they were wolves but now are sheep) and the one not to sleep - chelsea welcome liverpool (andy carrol vs torres?...andy carrol to score first?.

However, the game...the real game will be on 12th February 2011 when the noisy neighbours will come to park their bus at Old Trafford. I Cant wait!Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

This second half of the season, with 14 games or so remaining, will be a true test to United's assault in RECLAIMING ITS TROPHY. With the purchases made by the Pensioners and the Reds, only time will tell if the WILL is there. 14 games only Sir Fergie, take it one by one. Dismantle these teams, lay them bare and walk into Number 19.

Arsenal are being entertained by Andy Caroll-less Newcastle. Arsenal vs Fulham is a London Derby but Arsenal's derby is usually the North London Derby with Spurs, whereas Fulham's is the West London Derby with Chelsea. Chelsea is actually situated in Fulham area of London.
