Thanks wazurians. You are the best! As far as Safcom goes and even most of the NSE it only reminds me of Mark Twain. If he invests in the NSE he'd have this to say about retail share holders "Suppose you were an idiot, and suppose you were an NSE retail share holder; but I repeat myself". They'll never let safcom go beyond 6 bob in the near future ...

They've made the share only good for speculators and those who wish to remain in past 2011. The rest of us are only left with lots to ponder ...
Don't gamble; take all your savings and buy some good stock and hold it till it goes up, then sell it. If it don't go up, don't buy it...

@cicero - LOLest!!!

The good news is that if it behaves like this then we can use it to trade... I wanted to get in at 5/- but it didnt get there... lakini I will wait coz there ware 3.5 months before the announcement!

@VVS.. it looks like you need a new price because even though there are countless of sellers at 6 bob... the number of buyers is equal at 5 bob.. but i do i agree its a good time to trade this counter

@guru - Maybe 5.05 then... lakini with commissions too risky to pay much more...

My risk-free return is 13% (after taxes) in Infrastructure T-Bond so I shud make at least 13% nett after all commissions & something for my hassles of trading!

With a T-Bond... lala salama... you get interest every 6 months!

@VVS you have ventured into an area i really dislike( i mean t-bills)

i really dont find any use of a fixed income instrument unless you are a fund manager or unless you're about to retire... these have low risk tolerance..

but if you are none of the above all you have to do is find a fundamentally sound stock with high dividend yield and buy it for the long term hence treating it like a bond(but with the added benefit of capital gains)

why are you in t-bonds??
