'Do not rely on your own understanding' - That is why there is the bible aka Gods' word, duh.

Taken together with other admonitions and warnings about prayer in the same bible, guess what just got ruled out?

Implementation of that verse, in consistency with other exhortations, will leave one with frequent, silent, orderly and decent prayer sessions.

Dont say i agree when you are clearly not in agreement.

Again please explain how i would go about seeking help and guidance from the Holy Spirit ?

Are you aware that the Scriptures are the direct inspiration of the Holy Spirit?

Its hard. Is any bible reading thus:?

Matthew 7:7 Ask with theatrics, and it shall be given you; seek with lots of drama, and ye shall find; knock as loudly as possible, and it shall be opened unto you:


Hebrews 4:16: Let us therefore come boldly with much noise and agitation unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Jeremiah 29:13 And ye shall seek me with vituko, and hollering and jumping, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

My bible does not read like that. How can charismatic theatrics be defended using these verses?
