@nairobby - For KQ, the 777s are a sunk cost. They are screwed either way.
The 777s can carry additional cargo to LHR/AMS. Veggies and flowers.
Can the 777 be converted into a Combi? I have flown in a KLM 747-Combi. Go with 300 pax and increase cargo space.
China - Well, why not fly a larger plane (777) but at a fare that's more reasonable. And partner with China Southern (or others) to Beijing and Shanghai via CAN?
Whether KQ flies via BKK or not, there is demand for cargo from China-Kenya. Also potential for a Combi 777?
