Shindwe! Came to pass.... Maybe I can lobby for you to become CEO.. Ndio uwache kupoteza bags za passangers Make it to the AGM like a serious shareholder and ask the pertinent questions otherwise KQ will have another Sebastian come January next year.... KQ is not Sebastian nor Michael Joseph. KQ is the culture of the staff, the pilots who call in sick after binge drinking at 1824, cabin crew untouchables of high society who sneer at clients, procurement staff who pilfer, baggage handlers who steal perfumes and belts, engineers who down tools in high season.. Sebastian failed to break the culture, though just like Ngunze before him, I wish him well What is clear, Obiero, is that you are too attached to KQ that you are okay going down with it. And it's alright. No one is begrudging your choices. But when it comes to investing, sentimental attachments and goodwill toward a particular stock are never a part of investment strategy. That junior employees do not buy leadership's vision is NEVER a reason to hold on to a stock hoping it will turn round.. Investing is about getting a better return on your shilling invested in a particular stock compared to what you would get had you put your shilling in a different counter. What's your opportunity cost on investing in KQ thus far? It's 10years since this thread begun, and at the time KQ was trading at mid 50s .. Look at it now? Very few counters can compare to the performance of KQ over the same time period. Your shilling is better invested elsewhere. Sad bit is that no one can claim that at current price, KQ is undervalued. The only basis of holding it is so as not to actualize loss. ..Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven...Matt5:16 - 1769 Oxford King James Bible 'Authorized Version

One day I will sell.. For now, it is true that I am ready to crash and burn with KQ. I have said the very same thing here severally.. Only reason why I hold is that I am too far deep to get out now. Why should I sell while at 95% dilution rather than wait for the Open Offer.. KQ ABP 4.26

ProverB wrote:Dead Horse Theory at play. @sparkly I wasn't certain that the Open Offer recourse would be made available thus decided to average down with my ABP now down to KES 17.49 per share from a high of KES 23.97.. Target had been KES 8.00 to be around the restructuring entry level.. The 10th June AGM should offer better direction.. My hope is that the KQ turnaround narrative goes right, otherwise I will be sunk in a major way KQ ABP 4.26

Look at the naysayers who laughed at Safaricom at 3/- and can't believe their eyes today! Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett
