He was the last chair of the council of governors and just for a few months. Those before him used the chair to oppose the president ... and their fall was great.
I guess if he continues to be the chair he will be more cooperative with the national government. Will it matter? He isn't running for a next term after this?
We need constructive criticism of the national government
When Rutto and Munya were in those seats someone cheated them their work was to oppose the government or the DP specifically.(Munya said he will be on the ballot for presidency with him)
I believe our health crisis are partly due to their failure to seat and reason together.
Cooperation (not blindly) will yield better results.
Agreed. Rutto and Munya lost because of being chair of council of governors. They came across as anti government and so those who voted for Kamwana couldn't vote for them. I am sure Nanok knows this.
governors are under enormous pressure from their constituents for more resources. that's why they close ranks and choose a chairman who can speak his mind to the executive irrespective of party. i wouldn't be surprised if despite jubilee winning the majority of governor seats, the council chooses a nasa or independent governor as chairman. even if they choose a jubilee guy, they'll look for someone who isnt afraid of calling out the executive.
All my friends are heathens, take it slow. Wait for them to ask you who you know. Please don't make any sudden moves.
