Those days most people never knew who owned what as most of the info out there were perceived as mere rumours. Biwott was and still is an astute businessman, he also made use of his son in law as a front in most of his businesses.
I think Kenya being the largest economy around these sides, Kk should also look for a way to maintain and expand in this market coz more people are buying vehicles in Kenya than any other place within the Region. Kenya is fast becoming the business hub its supposed to be and they should take this advantage being an indigenous company and this is why i beieve the post of chairman & CEO should be held by different people. A company's influence in Kenya might follow it wherever it goes!

If he is such an astute businessman, how come he has never completed the second tower at Yaya Centre, which is an eyesore sitting on prime property?

BTW, what is KK doing about GOSS? With independence that could be a route to operate upstream??

@GG - No need to build massive infrastructure in ROSS [Republic of South Sudan] until the government stabilizes BUT I hope KK has the ability to supply ROSS as a wholesaler.

BTW, if you invest in ROSS you need a local partner... many of whom are simply cronies/connected to politicians... Shades of Kenya!

I got it at an average of 9.2 I'm ready to settle for 20% on this one plus it currently constitutes of 52% of my portfolio which is not wise at all.

BBI will solve it :)

Its like the guys selling KPLC now to me and the others... Then we will be selling back to them when the thing hits over 40 in two years...

@2012 I must say you really have balls to have 52% of your portfolio in KK.. I dont know if I should be impressed or worried??

Well, selling off some with 20% gain will drop the portfolio % to less than 50%...
