Yes, it will. People are cautious due to excess shares coming on on 19th. Most of you were expecting it come below 17 and this is yet to happen

@MaichBlack,

I still stand by my word, KCB will not go below 17. The moment the shares starting trading at 17, the fund managers will make such huge orders that you will daily volumes of 100m! You will not compete with them. I will not worry so much about a bob or 50 cents. I have convinved myself KCB is cheap at any price below 19, so I buy.

Two months ago, I told people about CFC. I bought at any price below 50 bob and I will soon offload half my holdings after making a cool 90% return in just two months!

yeaah @Pkoli i liked your posts on CFC...u are one of the people who convinced me to board that bus...but on KCB you are wrong man...

I am sorry the deal, I was not able to convince you on this unlike CFC. I am sure you at current pricing and steadly moving to the 20s, KCB was a bargain at anything below 18. I am sure it is not going to stay below 20 for a while. I see it trading at well above 25.

I bought very many. Had fewer shares for the rights and applied for additional rights. I put in about 1m in KCB and I do not think it was a bad idea

Good for you. The shareholders who did not pick up on this free 15% gift (17 bob to 19.5 bob) must be weeping d'oh!

That is why one has to be careful not to always follow the crowd in the stock market.

PKoli, you seem to be a great stockpicker. First CFC then KCB. Which other bargains do you see at the NSE at the moment?

I was really lucky on CFC I would say. Much more bullish on KCB. I have also been bullish on BOC (not given me returns though, only dividends). I am currently looking at the following:

1. KCB - Anything below 21 - Comparative price with its peers. Expected good returns from the region
2. DTB - Value unlocking and trading relatively low forward p/e based on its half year earnings
3. SGL - Price unlocking yet to come - could easily go to 60
4. CFC stanbic - I expect some further upsurge to around 140 (consolidated)
5. Safcom - If one gets it at around 4.6-4.8 range or lower ofcourse. You will be assued of good dividends and capital gain.
6. BOC - But you have to be as patient as a vulture
7. KenGen - Huge projects in the pipiline
8. KPLC - KenGen and KPLC and great companies that will support the V2030 pillar

I will obviously look at other securities if the price looks juicy.
