Going back to basics. The Mauritian govt trusts the Rawat investment in Britam Kenya and is not ready to let go. With all eyes open at the Good investment the firm is undertaking and the East and central Highest Tower yet to open Britam is turning to be a profit generator. The price of the stock seems to move back to its 30s very soon. Most likely Mauritian Govt would sell its Rawat holding share to competing investors who are angling to buy with a negotiated top price. This could even be a between 35-45 Kes a share.

Madam Admin, why is Britam and a few other stocks not included in stock profiler page? Good judgement is often the result of experience. Experience is often the result of bad judgement.

There is a way around it... Click on any other insurance company once it displays the new page, look to your right under 'related companies' you will see britam there For investors as a whole, returns decrease as motion increases ~ WB

The Mauritius Govt is not conducting a Fire Sale or a Sale to 'connected' parties. If this was the Kenyan gov't the stake would have been sold chini-chini. Greedy when others are fearful. Seems Kenyans hate themselves to love other nations they little know about by mere looking at their may be smooth roads and tall buildings. Its time Kenyans made aboutturn and regained their worth. An economist will always mind very little about policians though their mouths keep affecting his business. Corruption in kenya compared to other nations is very less but here it is pronounced by the magzeti ya kufunga Nyama who give free news to the world but pay for the clean sh*t they get from them as gospel truth. America has been at war for black killing but news will project kenyans being killed for weeks.

The stock is a real seal and can withstand the tides of Indian ocean from Mauritius to Kenya. Britam offices are being booked and is real business to have an office in the east and central Africa tallest tower. The Burj khalifa of Kenya

Ctyton has thrown the towel and said the fruits weren't,t ripe even. Acorn need to get an investment lead and may have no options but to get married by Britam. Kesho I am running for a bank loan to buy in droves. Cytton can't cope with the power of its parent and has to move on without inheritance. Will it succeed or is time we see same guys looking for jobs?

Things are not good here business daily wrote:Insurance group Britam is set to delete from its articles of association veto powers that were held by its single-largest shareholder Dawood Rawat, a fugitive Mauritian who is wanted by his government for allegedly perpetrating a $693 million (Sh67.2 billion) Ponzi scheme in the island nation.
Mr Rawat, through his investment vehicle British-American (Kenya) Holdings Limited (BAKHL) currently has the power to veto the appointment of Britam’s CEO and finance director. http://www.businessdaily.../-/ivn0t9z/-/index.html
business daily wrote:Britam is pulling the plug on an increasingly popular low-end cover for individuals launched with Safaricom in January last year.
The underwriter will no longer offer its Linda Jamii health insurance cover to individual customers though it will continue to sell the same to employees of firms and members of investment or social groups. http://www.businessdaily...56/-/r2pwin/-/index.html"There are only two emotions in the market, hope & fear. This is what is called realignment as a McKinsey would put it. The new appointee to handle Mauritian govt affairs in britam should have limited powers as is not a board appointee or officially elected official by investors. By doing so Britam Kenya becomes much more independent of vague decisions by Mauritian govt. ]
