You can adjust withdrawal limits with your banks plus sometimes you can be held for couple of days as they do they do withdraws so it's possible. As for landing I've no idea.

I was once involved in a funny mystery so as to help solve a mystery of a guy who was robbed his atm card,his car and received several beatings.We were able to identify the time when the transaction was done in his bank account, went to the video recorder to see who did it at that specific time, only to realize it was his wife who colluded with the robbers..... guess no charges filed though it was initially robbery with violence, the dude pleaded with the judge and oiled some hands to CID for the case to be dropped.
