..a case of..when loan options becomes preferable to calling up capital..
i like this for one reason only..my equity remains undiluted..and business prospects can adequately cover the MTN costs

atleast they've kept of the

HFCK has used the money from 2008 rights, and bond in 2010 very well. I'm convinced they'll use this 3bn very well, to achieve the 2012-2016 plan. Nice

I know HFCK bought acreage in Riruta area. Would anyone know where this land is located?

BBI will solve it

Apparently S&L has increased market share in Kenya to 40%.. HFCK better watch their backs!!

www.worldfinance.com/ban...or-growth-in-east-africa

S&L set to be the Kenyan and regional mortgage kingpin! Maybe this is one reason Mr. market continues to punish HF!

BIF FAT LIE!!!!!

As at 31 Dec 2011, market share was as follows:
1. HFCK - 28.26%
2. KCB - 19.85%
3. CFC - 9.66%
4. Stanchart - 8.50%
5. BBk - 4.79%
(Source: CBK Bank Supervision Annual Report 2011)

Logic tells us there is no way KCB can move to 40%.

If you insist that the 40% is no lie, tell us the percentage market share of the other big 5!

@mwekez@ji your figures do not add up to anything close to 100%!

But i stand to be corrected!

The top 5 mortgage players controlled 71.06% of the market as at 31st Dec 2011. Mortgage market had other 28 players sharing the remaining 28.94%.

The 40% is clearly incorrect. It is best you apply professional skepticism when putting up your posts to avoid misleading many
