Sanlam should be on the list. Terrible risk management.

Remove BBK from the list very stable bank with strong parent.

We are discussing the stock. How much in percentage gain has BBK had in the past 10, 5, 3, 1 years? Therein lies the answer

I sold it 2013 @17.95.
It has never returned to that price.
The dividend at that time was ksh.1 and has never grown beyond that

My divided return for this stock is 11%, I cannot complain. Pigeni odomodomo happy!!!

Hii ni counter ya wazee not young ones

Agreed

I am young and boarded the BBK bus Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly
The dividends here are juicy.

Dividend income should not be decoupled from capital gains.. What's the use of higher dividend while the share price keeps falling

KQ ABP 4.26

BBK is a shrinking business, constantly losing market share to the the competitors, too sluggish to market trends and innovation.

Kenol is still a good share to invest in. their market share is pretty good and the industry they are in is very key for economic growth in a country like Kenya. what is happening in the industry is very temporary. Population growth translates to growth of uptake of non-substitutable products in this scenario petroleum products.
Problems can be very complicated, solutions cannot be.
