Exactly. You may ask why we like discussing Pastors,Politicians,Teachers, etc
It's cz they have authority over our lives.
They run institutions that we highly regard and respect and we prefer that they be run well according to the laws of those institutions.

They also make decisions on our behalf which to some extent determine the course of a given society.

If any of those mentioned don't want their lives exposed then let them live private lives and rule ever their households in any way they please and we will not question.Like seriously who cares how Jguru lives and eats? He could be the greatest fisherman that has ever lived.

We will expose evil among leaders as long as they continue calling themselves leaders because the people matter.
Kama hawataki let them resign and eat in private.

This is so wrong.
The 'pastor' has succeeded in breaking apart a another man's home.

Are you sure he was not the victim?

Huh! Joseph ran from Potiphar's grip.Did the pastor skip his sunday school lessons?

Honestly if you want to commit some grave sins just step down and do them far from God's annointed position.
The judgement huwa kali sana cz it's God's name you are putting to shame not man's.

Here comes the rains!! whoa!

No.

It is very difficult for him, his ego may have been smashed completely, He should gather courage and move on with life Sad

This cancer of 'forgiving and moving on' will kill Kenyans. When will people stand up for what is right and seek justice?

This is how a society that isn't terminally ill should handle this issue:

1. The pastor's wife should divorce him for adultery, not forgiving him.
2. The church congregation should have locked the pastor out since he has shown by deed that he is indeed a wolf in sheep clothing.
3. The church should have excommunicated the pastor for gross misconduct, and bringing the church into disrepute, not just suspending him like they have done.
4. The mechanic should divorce his wife for adultery (He seems to be the only sober Kenyan since he has separated from her).
5. All wazuans should be condemning the pastor and the fish for this act and seek justice for the pastor's wife, the mechanic and the KAG church.

People(both men and women) are bound to go wrong. Forgiveness is thus an option. You see the way Eric Wainaina sorted his. If every unfaithfulness ended up in divorce, we could be having many in a day. All in all, I am a great believer in men n women working extremely hard to ensure they remain faithful to their partners. Personally, I better struggle so so much to avoid than to go explain myself to my wife and children. Not because I fear them, but because I respect them. I would hate to take them through a TV session of them pledging loyalty to their lose dad. But for those who fall in the sin, and their families agrees to forgive them, that is ok. Hoping the man will take the forgiveness seriously and change for the better.

So when you find your pastor eating your new wife, just forgive her (and the pastor) and move on. Hoping they will take forgiveness seriously and change for the better. After all as you have said, people are bound to go wrong. And If every unfaithfulness ended up in divorce, we could be having many in a day. ISOKEI.

Women are forgiving unlike men that's why the wife forgave the pastor and the mechanic separated from the fish
If Obiero did it, Who Am I?

These "philosophies" like forgiveness are "practiced" in a "package", perhaps a "culture" for example in some African customary situations, a "fine" will do, that's a package, in Abrahamic conceptions of God (Islam, Christianity, Judaism, African Orthodox), It is often shown that a man may be forgiven for adultery by the wife, but a woman, never, even stonned in some cultures, so that's another package, so what's the "background" of this "new" philosophy of divorce, courts...e.t.c....it very "western"...ontop of which comes cheeseburgers, pizzas, snow white, ngeiz, "no nobel science prize for Africans" e.t.c things...maybe you buy it all some of us just don't....we say as follows.

1. Mrs. Pastor - Very Good
2. Pastor - Bad but forgiven
3. Mechanic - "Unfortunate"
4. Mechanic wife - Bad but forgivable with fine paid by pastor. Or he give Pastor the lady as second wife, (but Christianity does not allow), so i guess he continues with her, "there is no divorce in Africa", the bread is more or less the same so is the machine, problem is he involved too many people.
Simple really.

Why would a married man go for a married woman and why would a married woman go for a married man?

Interesting...especially coming from a man who has severally admitted to cheating on his wife.

@Innovate, do you believe these things that guys keep saying here? Do you remember the hare and hyena story?

My take is the pastor got away so lightly. On the day it happened, the pastor was the bad guy, now he is all forgiven and our mechanic is left with egg all over his face.

He should have borrowed the script from the "makosa imefanyika guy in nyeri".

Or simply what most reasonable people would do ; engage @mawinder to send the pastor to makueni. You don't have to worry about the cops. The moment the investigations reveal that the victim was fishing from someone else's pond, the file is usually closed. Its a silent policy within the force.
