Some people are talking about consequences now that @chepkel has posted her pikshas (some are also commenting on the content of her previous threads), and I have been wondering what kind of consequences they are talking about. Personally, I can only see positive consequences. And I am saying so because today’s employer is looking at candidates who are:

1. Confident – all CEOs want employees with a lot of confidence and she fares very well on this front

2. Bold – CEOs want people who are daring, brave and can think out of the box. Even lady admin can’t believe it and greatly impressed, she can’t even dare remove that piksha no 1.

3. Sincere – she’s forthright and doesn’t have to hide her identity and activities

4. Creative - she has proven that she can come up with creative threads that provoke passionate debate for days on end, she also knows when to pop in and add more fuel to the fire. It’s every marketer’s/advertiser’s dream to capture the attention of the audience/market for days on end and generate such passionate debate about a product/issue.

5. Outgoing with great interpersonal skills, team player (mapiksha say it all)

6. Can fit well in multicultural environments (mapiksha say it all) – UN should be head hunting her.

7. Focused, result oriented – she has remained focused marketing Egypt when everyone around her was losing their mind about that one piksha. All the comments have not detracted her.

8. Good communication skills - she is a good writer as judged from her posts.

9. Good presentation skills – her post no 1 says it all i.e. clever use of imagery and phrases etc. for the ‘5 reasons’. She knew she had to start with that bikini piksha for maximum impact and to strongly capture people’s attention. She’s the kind of employee you would want to make presentations to your clients.

10. Exciting, passionate about what they do – no one wants to have dull employees in their team, they want people who are exciting and full of energy and love what they are doing.

11. Well educated – I gather that she is doing her masters.

I believe @chepkel scores very highly in all those 11 points and would be every CEO’s dream employee. Gone are the days CEOs demanded that employees are born again Christians….

@jaggernaut, Thank you soooooooo much. Thank you very very much. Now I know what to say exactly in job interview.

I always view the Glass as half full. And I like to use my experiences as a basis for discussion. This actually usually lands me in some trouble because many people are not really open and would rather use someone else as an example. Indeed, I am not perfect but I try my best.

I am open minded and fully aware that people are different and will not always agree with my point of view. But, that's why we are different and diverse, right? That's what makes the world go round.

A good CEO talks about 'our organisation' and not 'my organisation' since you are team.

Whenever i go swimming i see women in their bikinis and yes they swim in public and the whole world sees them doing it. So what crime has @chepkel committed by showing us that she went swimming on some beach and visited some pyramids? What is wrong with a young woman leading a normal life and sharing her experience with her friends? Did you want her to go swimming in a 'mothers guild' plaited dress?

There is a difference between going swimming and posting personal pics on the world wide web in such fora. Have you ever noticed that even social media platforms such as facebook allow you to customize your audience? Why do you think that is?

The lady says she wants to put across a point about Egypt being a great place to be, in my opinion a well written paragraph will do, but as they say live and let live. The next time she finds the village idiot has copied her picture and posted it in another forum she shouldn't blame anyone then.
As someone has asked would you be ok with your sister, wife/girlfriend, or even mum posting her pics this way?
Absurd at best......

In my opinion this is a well intended caution, the web is a bottomless pit which can sink with anyone especially when identities are revealed, am hoping that Chepkel is not her name exactly as this can come to haunt her in future. i hope she has hidden her identity in the name.... otherwise dint blame anyone if the photos resurface in some funny situations

This is Dahab. One of the most beautiful beaches on planet earth. Dahab is in the Sinai Peninsula. Very close to where Moses went up the mountain.

Great stuff you can do here; Though people go to Dahab to basically do nothing. In fact, you will really enjoy yourself there if you just sit and relax.

But you can experience a Desert safari and camping with the Bedouins in the desert, Snorkelling, Deap Sea diving, Climbing Mt. Sinai.

This is the view from the top of Mt. Sinai. The Egyptians call it Gebel Musa. (Moses' Mountain). Its exhilarating. You stand on a spot where probably the Great Prophet, who delivered God's people from captivity, was also standing when he received the Ten Commandments.

A 3 day trip in Dahab will cost you like about $200. And this will be all inclusive. Like all the excursions and sights, a nice room, meals etc etc. It is quite cheap. Taking a holiday anywhere in Egypt is actually very cheap.

You can take one of these air baloons in Luxor. its amazing. My friends and I took one and we had a fantastic experience. You get to see the entire city and all the monuments and temple from above.

Very much on the right track here

This is what @ Money Whisperer is talking about

In the Midst of Islam, lies a great Christian martyr. Saint Sabina, matron and martyr from Rome. The widow of Senator Valentinus and daughter of Herod Metallarius. After her female slave Saint Serapia (who had converted her) was denounced as a witch and beheaded, Sabina rescued her slave's remains and had them interred in the family mausoleum where she also expected to be buried. Denounced as a criminal, Sabina was condemned for her act of charity to her slave. She was accused of being a Christian by Elpidio the Perfect. She was thereupon martyred in the year 125 AD in the city of Vindena in the state of Umbria, Italy.

Her body was waxed and lies in St. Catherine church in Alexandria City, Egypt.
