This plug-plug or socket-socket business is nowadays common issues in social discussion. But to think of your own children in the context is at the very least nerve chilling....Imagine the joy of seeing your newly born daughter or son and then again imagine that they become gay.............your heart must surely miss three strokes....mine does.
But on a more sober note,I believe that gays are made not born..so therere nothing true in that 'what if I was born that way??' crap. I would entertain it if it was a Semenya type of scenario.
But now that this thing is coming into limelight....It is not exactly new in Kenya...perhaps it existed pre-colonial days...I could be wrong. Correct me if so. Yes,now that its is becoming very public,I wouldn't waste my energy bashing gays here...much as I detest them.
Rather,I would be keen on ensuring my parenting input makes my son and daughter assume the requisite masculine and feminine tendencies respectively. This is because I believe that most of those homos pick up the dog-like tendencies during their formative years. And if everyone did heed their parental roles,there'll be less and less talk about gays.
My two Ugandan cents.....any shrink in the house?...(the shrink should not be gay-I noticed quite a number of these psychiatrists have worse problems than their clients)

@Fundaah,please respond to the question on fellatio from a biblical point of view in my reply below. Anyone who knows the bible well can also assist - I have to say I learn something new from SK everyday. As we debate,let's not take things personally,hata kama wewe ni plug ama socket or atheist or gay priest,kindly try to observe some decorum. It's just an opinion,like any other. Fellatio,anyone? :- ) smano BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

@malimingi,
You can continue to be a gay / lesbian but privately and quietly here in Kenya. Our laws do not allow that kind of perversion here. The public and a major majority do not approve that lifestyle here. Neither do we allow incest in our communities. If you want to come out openly an example has been set for you by those guys who did it in UK. You can go there or any other country where it is allowed and do it.

Otiendes Please put forward a worthwhile argument instead of trying to get personal. I am not gay and neither am I a lesbian but I will continue to defend the rights of gays/lesbians to live in peace and freedom,simply because they are human beings.

@Fundaah,let me help you a bit with English:
Belief:
An acceptance that something exists or is true,especially one without proof - Concise Oxford English Dictionary
Belief then would hardly be the reason I would be reading books,would it? Like I said,it's not a crime to have a belief in anything. Just don't try and impose it on others. I still insist though,read widely. You think that because you were born in a family practising christianity that it can't be wrong,right? What if you were born in a muslim or hindu family? Would you still be valiantly defending the bible? I asked you a question that you have avoided - have you read other holy books and why do you think you are the only one who is right? Have you heard of Horus? Please read the story and tell me if the story of Jesus isn't plagiarism. If you are too lazy to read up on that as you have demonstrated severally here,I will post a summary of that story.
@gogeta,this is precisely how holy-rollers get people to follow along unquestioningly. Man has been trying to understand what is around him/where he came from/his purpose from time immemorial. The men who lived 2000 years ago were no different,thus they came up with the bible. However,back then,they figured the earth was less than 10,000 years old - does that really wash today? Religion has always been an easy way. Belief is fantasy. We all feel like we need answers to why we are here. Bilogists give us one: For the propagation of species. Hardly uplifting,I know. Religion makes you feel like you have purpose. However,it then gets dangerous when people start taking the stories in their holy books literally - like the story of Sodom.
The Matrix has you...

@spend.thrift
thats a good one. I think my only worry is that when you have gay-apologist parents in your neighbourhood,your work in parenting is not as easy.
Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.

i have noticed there is a general tendency by the minority to remove the word human in the human rights campaign,i wont be surprised if someone starts advocating for murder to be legalized based on a crazy excuse that he was born that way...........
here are some facts:
no one was born gay or lesbian,just like there is no one who was born a thief,a murderer,etc....... all these habits are acquired....
i havent heard (or read) anyone at sk wanting to lynch or kill plugs,but for jailing that's not sk's place unless one of us here is a judge of the high court,if thats the case please give em max sentence.........

@ Wendz,I am also always afraid of such,especially when they are in the neighbourhood where games such as 'cha baba na cha mama' are supposed to e played........but even worse is when your girl or boy goes to school with boys and girls who are already warped....some primary and secondary boarding and even day schools have had their share of such admissions.
The faith in me tells me that if I spend quality time with my boy,he might actually tell me stories of funny behaving boys at his school and then I'll take the necessary corrective action in good time. Same for princess.....because these gays are everywhere and they come in all ages although I believe they exagerate their numbers

@Malimingi,
How are you defending the gays & lesbians? By winning every argument here? The laws of the land have outlawed them. We recently outlawed smoking in public. You cannot defend smokers here by just saying they have a right to smoke when they feel like. However there are other countries where you can smoke anywhere. If you are gay or lesbian you are safe doing it privately. You go public here in Kenya and you are done.

@theredpill - now that you accuse others of evading your questions,my question was,how did the world come into existence? Katika Jangwa la Jangili ndipo Pwagu hupata Pwaguzi. Katika Jangwa la Jangili ndipo Pwagu hupata Pwaguzi.

Ericks Stop putting words in our mouths. What is 'normal' or 'abnormal' and who decides what is 'normal' or 'abnormal'?

The Red Pill ....A lie cannot survive forever....it is always disapproved at someday....The Holy bible has been fought for ages ..there has never been any strong prove that is a lie.....that is why it has survived this long.....you see now you are bringing up other books (lies) which I have never heard in my life ....just because they are full of lies....and their aim is to fight the true Word of God...If you read the bible properly you will agree with me that it was written by either a super genious or an humbled but inspired human being.....Tell me any other story book which has stood the test of time as the bible has? Lies come and go ..... Btw there is archeological evidence of the existence of sodom and gomorrah( I know you like hearing scientific facts)..... Rules of the game here: Before you post anything think.give facts only..It's a serious blog for serious people....Do not insult your brother....respect one another...Just be good.... It's good to live a honest life....life without guilt.... I would think :
normal in this context is when a man behaves like a man or a woman behaves like a woman. Abnormal is when a woman behaves like a man or a man behaves like a woman (i dont think anyone needs to expound. we all know how we have been socialised).
I also think the society we live in decides what is 'normal' and what is 'abnormal'. Is it that hard to agree on this?
Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.

@smano,
Everything is included in the bible. Read songs of Solomons. The language is not direct. If you properly understand your mother tongue,you know you can say one thing when you mean another. We have not invented a single thing as far as the sex business is concerned in 2000 years ago. Sex is a major theme in European art. The naked statures you see in European cities are statures of men who were the rulers wives during those ancient times fyi which could be somewhere about 100 bc.

I asked 1 person in SA how he became gay. He told me he was made like that when he was a small boy by an adult who was living in their house. He told me many of the gay people were made by other gay men when they were children.
I read in parent's magazine liek 4 years ago about how a girl went to a boarding high school and was converted to a lesbian by another senior girl. She gave her story how she is now not able to relate with men after that experience.
This is the major reason some of us cannot allow gays / lesbians to practice here. It is just that.... they want to convert as many of our children to their abnormal lifestyle as possible. Those in power in Kenya know that the public is against this practice and will not allow gay rights in our laws.

Wendz There goes the flaw in your argument - thus if someone says that what he/she does is fine with him/her (and he/she is not hurting any one) what right do you have to jail,lynch,harass or kill him/her?
The 'society' Galileo lived it thought in normal that the sun revolves around the earth and that the earth was flat,woe unto Galileo for trying to prove otherwise!!

I like your impassioned defense of the bible. Yet as RedPill has told you,go to Japan or somewhere else in Asia and you will find that they have had belief systems going back to thousands of years,where they are the chosen people of God and the bible there is nothing but a foreign book. Because they have their own holy books written thousands of years ago.
Here in Africa,the bible/koran is just an imposed thing that was also a tool of colonization/slavery. If we go only 100 years back in Kenya we will find most of our forefathers having belief systems that could go back perhaps tens of thousands of years that also featured supernatural miracles and expressions e.g. going into a trance which is pretty similar to what many Christians experience in their own religion. Also in our own traditional religious beliefs we were the chosen people of God just as the Jews are the chosen people of God in their own religious beliefs.
I'm sure that if it was the Japanese who conquered us,we would all be practicing their form of religion and people would take it as the truth and be defending it. According to the British missionaries,God had appointed a magnanimous queen who ruled with wisdom and kindness and this queen wanted to take Africans under her loving rule. Result = colonization.
If you get the chance to travel more you will begin to see that the world is not flat but round. Just because we drive on the left side of the road doesn't mean that it's the only way to drive.

@ Mali
Well wendz has just read ma mind,thats what normal is,i hope u r not suggesting that plugism is normal coz its not even to the eyes of a plug its not normal,if it were they wouldnt be trying so hard to wear make up.
if a pluggee is attracted to ana man i would believe that the masculine nature of the man is the main thing that attracts him... well thats not what happens right???
mind u if we were to leave the bible or religion as a whole out of it,its still remains yuckkkkkkkkkkkkk.............
