That argument is a desperate one - you can do better than that. Pedophiles prey on children,gay people are consenting adults. The very fact that you can compare the two just goes to show how people will go to great lengths to work up the emotions of others against people (falsely) who are different from them. Ever read/heard how racists or tribalists exaggerate things to argue their side of things? This is no different.


I also wonder. If any of the people who are so homophobic were to at some point realize that their adult child was gay,would you reject them and subject them to a blood-thirsty mob?
