The phrase "To get a result" as used in soccer simply means to get a win or a draw. So one can correctly argue that Man U is the only club to have had a result in all their matches in EPL this season. Unfortunately, thats the bitter truth. IF YOU EXPECT ME TO POST ANYTHING POSITIVE ABOUT ASENO, YOU MAY AS WELL SIT ON A PIN

The Man U fanatics are chest-thumping rightly so, however we can't push the panic button yet as the season is barely past midway. The 2 games away to Man u will define the season most probably. I don't think Arsenal can win the title, unless they add a striker and a defender (read somewhere on todays paper, they might get Samba), but i think Shitty will give Man U a ran for their money, with a much needed quality striker to support Tevez, i now see them a potent force. For my beloved Chelsea sigh!! what can i say, 4th place is what we are fighting for now,We surely can't win this, however we might just win the champions league!! The greatest danger in times of turbulence is not the turbulence; it is to act with yesterday's logic.

Mwenza @ Jus Blazin......As an Arsenal fan, any sort of draw against Wigan, West Ham, Stoke, West Brom etc always feels like a loss. I personally don't mind last night's result although i feel we were a bit unlucky not to get the full three points. Man Utd are 4 pts ahead but are yet to face Chelsea home/away and also play the return match with Man City so clearly there's a long way to go.
Vermaelen is expected back in Feb but already Wenger has indicated he'll sign another Defender should he fail to recover. At the fron we don't need anyone because almost all our midfielders can score goals.
McReggae....Last season Man Utd were knocked out of the FA cup very early in the competition and in the league the drew matches and lost several...all in the second half of the season!

@TAZ................Now that is what i call honest talk. That explains why the two points dropped against Wigan will always feel more massive than the two dropped against Manshitty. There is of coz no embarrassment in losing points to the moneybags. Aseno/Wigan match resembled Shakhtar Donetsk/aseno game. Those were points "deliberately" thrown away. [quote=TAZ]McReggae....Last season Man Utd were knocked out of the FA cup very early in the competition and in the league the drew matches and lost several...all in the second half of the season! [/quote I always talk facts brazza, These are the united stats for the last two years! 07/08 Aug-Dec Games 20, won 14, drawn 3 and lost 3. Scored 37 conceding 11, goals per game 1.85 with a win rate of 70% and position 2. Jan-May Games 18, won 13, drawn 3 and lost 2. Scored 43 conceding 11, goals per game 2.38 with a win rate of 72.22% and position 1 08/09 Aug-Dec Games 18, won 11, drawn 5 and lost 2. Scored 29 conceding 10, goals per game 1.61 with a win rate of 61.11% and position 3 Jan-May Games 20, won 17, drawn 1 and lost 2. Scored 39 conceding 14, goals per game 1.95 with a win rate of 85% and position 1 09/10 Aug-Dec Games 20, won 14, drawn 1 and lost 5. Scored 45 conceding 18, goals per game 2.25 with a win rate of 70% and position 2 Jan-May Games 18, won 13, drawn 3 and lost 2. Scored 41 conceding 10, goals per game 2.27 with a win rate of 72.22% and position 2 Now you know!!!!!! ..."Wewe ni mtu mdogo sana....na mwenye amekuandika pia ni mtu mdogo sana!".

McReggae....Compare Man Utd stats with the other top teams and you'll realize the difference is so minimal....there's really nothing special about your performance in the second half of the season only that other teams drop points with two or three games to end of season. For example last season, Arsenal's title ambitions came to an end on 18th April against Wigan....we had several players injured especially at the back, we couldn't defend our 2-0 lead with 10 min to play. Before that game we lost 2-1 away to spurs, failing to capitilise on Man Utd draw with B'Burn.
In total we lost three games in late April due to injuries to almost all our defensive players....nothing to do with performance of the team. If Man Utd were to play for two months towards the end of the season without Vidic, Ferdinand, Nani & Fletcher would you be so confident about your upcoming matches???

@ taz i think you dont get the point here, the point is man u looses less points in the second half as compared to the first half, @ Mcreggea correct me if i am wrong. LOVE WHAT YOU DO, DO WHAT YOU LOVE.

today i will comment today, maybe this will be my first EPL related comment. man-u, though not consistent have, shown glimpse, only glimpse of champoins. most notably the villa game. arsenal have been consistent away thier only undoing is home form. that should be corrected if they are to win the league. the last two seasons three seasons have been won by a margin of 2 or less points, those urguing that 4 points is nothing need a reality check. if aresnal corrects the home form then they can win the league, city on the other hand are NOT champions material, they parked the bus against man-u, they did it again yesterday, champions DONT play that way, they play to win. to the man-u fans, enjoy while it lasts. to the arsenal fans, hate them or love them man-u have the best striking force and the second best defence in the league, i think they deserve to be where they are now, as of tomorrow i dont know! MAY THE BEST TEAM WIN!! LOVE WHAT YOU DO, DO WHAT YOU LOVE.

Exactly @ Kyt, TAZ, If those stats are the same for every other top team, how come United also improve on their position or bridge the gap in terms of points, this can only happen when united better the results of the other teams, otherwise positions would not change. Aseno crumbles all the time in the 2nd half of the season, you justify last season, what abot the other season when Gallas as the captain remained in the pitch crying????......it was another aseno crumble in the 2nd part of the season. For last season you mention two games why aseno never competed until the last minute, you forget that they did finich a whole 11 points below the champions!!!!! ..."Wewe ni mtu mdogo sana....na mwenye amekuandika pia ni mtu mdogo sana!".
