Australian market slumps to a 10month low. Interesting to note that Moody’s rating agency placed three French banks, BNP Paribas, Societe Generale and Credit Agricole, on review for a downgrade because of their exposure to Greek government bonds and the private sector.

EU officials are now a chatter box. My RSS feed is going nuts... If EU officials shut up & let one person speak the tension would ease.

Such a circus today...

Rumour of the day - QE3.0 may push AUDJPY to 105. That's 2 big figures from the current price!? That is a massive yen devaluation...

On July 15 2011 OTC retail traders in US will not be able to trade gold & silver as per frank dodd's bill. Already forex.com & saxobank have started notifying clients... So glad I ran away from US brokers.

Now does this mean gold & silver are about to launch a massive parabolic price curve...?

Today is Tuesday. So what? I'm waiting for the Greek pretext vote... Which means a euro volatile day. Therefore I'm forced to review the euro trades in place i.e. EURCAD short.

SL for lot size 0.5 placed at 1.4110 from break-even 1.4310 - that should give enough room for a spike up and also leaves me with 1000pips... SL for lot size 1.0 placed at 1.4200, 1000pips.

USDCHF lot size 0.2 long still in place, but looking heavy. I revised the SL last week to break-even so this is risk free.

Dollar early signs of weakness grossly undermining my earlier assumption that tomorrow FOMC decisions on QE3 will be dollar bullish, especially looking at the euro, gbp and cad. Nonetheless decided to trade the first two contrary to my assumptions, trades now ok and sl moved to break even (Short term trades).
