NSE20 eased 45.83 points to close at 4500.09 down 1% while NASI eased 1.04 points to close at 104.78 down 0.98% Profit taking still on course after exploding out of the block from Jan 2nd. Technicals across all indices are still overextended and more correction is on the cards to wind down the excess overbought readings. Former solid resistance 4400 is now near term support zone.

As usual it's all quiet as the market corrects. Wazuans smile

Ha ha. These pull backs always leave casualties.

Hahaa! Today is a Friday. Kuzidisha, everyone is in the Politics sectionsmile

With the elections being in March this year, will companies race to release their financials in Feb well before the polls? Feb could be a bumper month in terms of earnings reports.

@ycsun that's good thinking man. They should. Create a value stalemate smile

I'm still liking BOC but liquidity tu.I like cables but can't enter now,too risky for me. I think I'll try and ride SGL.

@FUNKY - Almost forgot you can also get past reports from them using that link.I would share with wazua how but I don't think it would be legal.

By risky, i am assuming you mean To risk not been able to achieve your desired ROI.

Coz if its about EACL financial perfomance, 2012 might be excellent hence a fat div might on the way.

TransCentury owns 65 percent of EACL, who knows how much this accounts to the Tranny Portfolio now that they have sold Chai Bora of TZ?

Its been on a slow steady rise,if I was in I would have sold even though I think it has potential.By risky I don't mean ROI,just doesn't have a buffer for my protection.

Mpesa bank's turnover was 253M today. Similar pattern to EABL when it raced to 303 and KCB @34.50 on huge turnover then profit taking ensued. If we get increasing net selling from foreigners as supply swells on the blue chips, the correction will sustain for a while.
