True.. Its the hottest financial stock right now. Net profit growth highest amongst all banks. 3rd most profitable both on PBT AND PAT..

I remain skeptical of Mackinsey tactics of profit growth by reducing costs. Such are good for mature economies but not for an economy such as ours. We need businesses to take risks, invest, grow otherwise Co-op will just turn into another BBK

What are other core businesses does coop operate apart from banking, securities? Are they into real estate, other manufacturing or commercial entities.?

They do rent;anybody can do that you don't need a licence.

They own coop trust where hr and IT is based and also coop house (bomb blast) building . The branches are leased or rented .
