I then set out acquiring as much knowledge as I could on the same and now, I freely share that info that I've accumulated over time. The direct costs of the equipment will most probably depend on your haggling skills. Those shops are a dime a dozen on Luthuli, simply do some window shopping to get the fairest pricing. By the way I gave up on tv long ago.Even forgot how to operate it.

I.e the go tv decoder is used to process signals transmitted by transmitters on the ground (hence the T=terrestrial in DVB-T2), almost similar to analogue transmissions. Signet broadcasts in this manner. For DVB-S2 reception, decoders able to process signals transmitted via satellite are needed (in DVB-S2, S=satellite) Live and learn; and don’t forget, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
