@Mchanganuzi:

I hope the kids were not there when you banged the laptop and smashed the phone against the wall. If you are having disagreements, keep them away from the kids. Kids retain memories of such events and fighting at home traumatises them greatly (nightmares, bed-wetting, poor performance at school, social problems, suicide, serial killers etc).

Two 'B's often lead to a broken marriage: Bank and Bedroom. You say you give her everything she needs, so I'm guessing financial stresses are not present. But are you "giving it to her just the way she wants it"? Wewe ni kiboko yao?
Set out to correct the world's wrongs and you will most certainly wind up adding to them.

I want to enter that institution this year, tell us more please before I present application papers to go with bad c. v.

Ask yourself what role you'd like to play - Prisoner - or - Prison Guard.

I intend to propely play the role of Head of the Family,(no sharing duties, payslips, e.t.c) pipi will be Deputy and minister of home affairs, if that is very clear from the outset, i don't expect nagging, and quarells over money etc sivyo? Infact i am more concerned with smaller issues such as meals, bedroom manners in marriage and so on. E.g farting in bed, mastylo e.t.c. Am i wrong? This attitude may be the reason for delay but i think it is important for a good marriage.

A woman isn't a 'helper' as house keeper. She is your door to growth and enjoyment of life through conversation and action.

She must be free and strong.

@deadpoet, has presented a grim picture that marriage must always be a prison.

It's not true. If there's wisdom in the house, a wife is a precious gift.

Otherwise why torture and constrain yourself to someone, or a prescribed number of wives?

Children? Get a surrogate mother. House keeping? Hire someone to do it. Sex? Keep options always open.

There's another reason for expecting the best of your wife and marriage. Good parenting. Chesterton put well when he said that one can only get to the child through the mother. (Though the matter of Maryology is not intended here). (But I can imagine digital mothers taking care of children. So the wife must be really free and productive.)

This, one can affirm without being married, or ever being married.

Better to live on the roof than share the house with a nagging wife.

Some men nag too,differently though.

Well, maybe 'nag' was a strong word.. How about 'verbally motivates and corrects' you? Coz if she goes silent, there just might be someone else... or she's completely written you off. @essyk, false?
