BBK will announce nothing special so the price will probably remain stable

Investment psychology where, before you buy a stock it is rising too fast and you wish it could slow down yet after you jump in, it is stagnating so much. I regret never buying NIC at 28 bob.

Going by last year, we expect them to release their results in the 2nd week of november. Last year, BBK released their results on 20th nov while NIC was a day before i.e 19th.
This year though, BBK may release results in the 1st week for they are expected to be better than last years flat Accounts!

Ofcourse u can buy a stock today the next day it drops by 10%...ask those who bought MSC the day before the announcement date...in fact sometimes its good to ignore weather rich or nelly data existed...

Sober,Thropic and Veteran-thankx for the consolation and info.If i put my list its endless Kengen at 36,KQ at 66 Centum at 400 before split Mumias at 49.50 lately Equity at 25 bob which i feel like my consolation since i know it will rise to 30 bob after 3Q results.
If a decide to sell off all at the current NSE prices i will make a realised loss of almost 250K thats why am realy pissed off
when will this SOKO rise!!And these are what we call blue chip companies in Kenya?

Veyron, ulinunua wakati mbaya. During the peak when NSE was hitting 6k. And not being judgemental, but you seemed to follow the crowd. Cause the same ''blue chips'' you're slamming, have made people serious money. Equity at 13. Mumias at 6 bob, etc. But I take it you have been reinvesting the dividends? For the record, the SOKO has risen by 40 percent for the year to date

There's also what e call averaging down on cost for the stocks you bought for an arm n a leg. the more you buy, the more you bring down your average buying price for your total portfolio esp for the so called blue chips. Eventually, your average cost will be less than the current prices and then you can make exit decisions or even scaling up your portfolio.
Stocks are a time n tested way of investing.
By the way, u pull out when the stocks are at their peak! How do you get to know this? When everyone everywhere is talking about stocks n how they have made money. When do you take the plunge? When no one wants to talk bout stocks.
Remember Warren Buffets slogan........When pple get greedy, get fearful, when they get fearful, get gready!
Also have a long term view on stocks, do your math before buying any stock, ask for advice esp from Wazuans n other such forums and also learn to learn form your mistakes!
The stock market also has high n low seasons. Being able to predict the saeson we are in and making the correct decisions will get you there eventually!
